INSIDE YOUR PERSONAL STUDIO

Everything your story needs.
Nothing rushed.

From finding a familiar face to the last frame of the last song, each part of YourLifeStory helps you turn a personal collection into a finished film.

01 / MEDIA LIBRARY

A place for every memory.

Photos, clips, and recordings, organized in a library that keeps your originals untouched.

  • Import files, folders, or ZIP archives; review duplicates detected on arrival.
  • See the whole photo in Fit mode, including tall phone pictures. Switch to Fill when you prefer.
  • Find memories by person, album, tag, date, orientation, and media type. Search in plain language, such as “last summer.”
  • Review similar-photo stacks, open a full-size viewer, and adjust dates in bulk. Estimated dates are marked clearly.
02 / PEOPLE

Familiar faces. Found locally.

Face recognition suggests who is in a photo. You decide who they are.

  • Group faces on your PC, using the GPU where supported or the CPU. No photo upload is needed.
  • Name, confirm, merge, or correct people. Your confirmed corrections survive later scans.
  • Browse a person’s photos in date order and see which face was matched in a group picture.
  • Keep faces in frame during photo motion with face-aware focal points.
03 / STORYBOARD

A story, with your touch.

Build a chronological Memory Project, then make its scenes, captions, and pacing your own.

  • Choose from 10 style presets and 42 transition types, with gentle, lively, playful, or uniform transition themes.
  • Reorder scenes, adjust their duration, and add titles, classic or reel-style captions, and scrolling credits.
  • Save a Recipe to reuse the look and timing of a favorite film.
  • Optional AI can suggest titles, captions, section names, or an arrangement, with the cost shown first.

04 / MUSIC & TIMING

Your whole song. Your whole story.

Let the soundtrack shape the film, whether it is a single song or a whole collection.

  • Fit to music sizes scenes so the film finishes with the soundtrack. There is no film-length cap.
  • Add multiple songs in sequence, set fade-in and fade-out, and trim near-silent endings.
  • Use local beat analysis to align scene changes with downbeats and track boundaries.
  • Keep narration clear with music that automatically lowers under speech.
05 / SOUND & VOICE

Because their voice is a memory, too.

Record narration for each section, or use an optional connected voice provider.

  • Add your own narration to tell the stories behind the photos.
  • Browse provider voices, preview them, and save favorites in Voice Studio.
  • Generate speech or transcribe a recording into timed captions through your connected provider. Provider use is logged with its cost.
06 / OPTIONAL AI

A helping hand. Only if you want it.

Connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or ElevenLabs account for extra creative help. Core features still work without one.

  • The Director turns a paragraph into a draft project with suggested photos, sections, a style, and music.
  • Use AI Chat to plan a film, and Image Studio to create images you can keep in your library.
  • Turn on image analysis per batch when you want descriptions for search and captions.
  • Provider keys are stored encrypted and are not displayed. Costs are shown before use; provider charges are separate.
07 / RENDER & PREMIERE

Ready for the room to go quiet.

Finish in full HD, open the Premiere player, and bring your film to the people it is for.

  • Export H.264 MP4 with AAC audio at 1080p and 30 frames per second, in standard or master quality.
  • Preview at lower resolution before committing to a full render. NVIDIA hardware encoding accelerates supported systems.
  • See render progress and checks that compare timing, audio samples, and video frames with the plan.
  • Package the film and poster for TV or USB, or create expiring, view-capped links within your home network.
08 / STUDIO & SUPPORT

Made to feel manageable.

Plain-language help, guided walkthroughs, and practical ways to look after your studio.

  • Use built-in help topics, contextual help, and three guided walkthroughs.
  • Launch the studio from desktop Start and Stop icons. Trusted computer mode can open straight to your dashboard.
  • Check the About page for build information and system health. Copy a diagnostic report that redacts secrets and filenames.
  • Keep your database, originals, previews, and exports together. Back up the studio by copying its data folder.
